As car enthusiasts, we completely enjoy going to meets that have been put together by our friends at Stance Pilipinas. Why? Because of the camaraderie. There’s something about the ambiance in those meets that makes it feel like a brotherhood… A brotherhood with a passion for making cars look good.

See, in Stance Pilipinas meets, it doesn’t really matter what car you drive. What matters is whether or not you’re pushing it to the limits in terms of making your car/s look good. And when I say “look good”, I mean low, wide, stretched, tucked, poked, cambered or what have you, that it turns your once stock car into an absolute head-turner, in an aggressive and menacing sort of way.

You’ll see what I mean as you check out the collection of cars owned by the people in the “brotherhood”. These range from old school to new, from econo-boxes, to family and sports sedans, to sports cars. Like I said, it’s all about making your car look good. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show…

Let’s start the ball rolling with the econo-boxes. Literally, they were meant by their manufacturer to be econo-boxes.

Namely, the Toyota bB / Scion xB. This car has had a cult following since it’s inception.

And people have adapted many different schools of thought when it comes to modifying these people movers.

But I should say, these are some of the most gorgeous “boxes on wheels” that you can find on the streets today. Would you agree?

From econo-boxes, let’s check out some of the sports sedans in the event.

This Subie was wearing some of my most favorite wheels in the world – Rota MXR’s. But what’s awesome about this car is that it was riding on Air Suspension. You can park slammed, roll high, and go over obstacles on an even higher ride height setting.

So was this BMW M5, which was also ‘bagged. Owned by Ian King, we’ve featured this car many times before here on CPR through different iterations. Find out more about this BMW M5 here. Meanwhile, we’ll keep this as a teaser post, as this car deserves a separate article. So we’ll be spotlighting this in the next couple of days. Stay tuned for that!

From sports sedans, we move on…

…to some of the other 4-door sedans…

…that you probably see on a day-to-day basis,

…such as this Corolla.

But of course, as with all cars in Stance Pilipinas…

…they have been customized to look good, such as this Stanced Nissan Sentra.

They have also adapted many different schools of thought when it comes to modifying these cars. Things can go from neat and clean, to sporty, or even to more purist schools of thought…

VIP-style is one, which is very evident in this Junction Produce-inspired Sentra, which we’ll be featuring as a spotlight car soon…

…as well as with this VIP Style Civic FD which we’ve already featured sometime back

On the other hand, old-school is something that we believe people would never really grow tired of.

Just take a look at this Lancer Boxtype. Isn’t that awesome or what!?

As well as this Corona, which we’ve already featured before. But yeah, like we said, we never really grow tired of old-school rides right? We have so many photos of this that we’ll probably be doing another spotlight feature on it, just because we think it’s cool haha! So watch out for that.

Anyways, that’s about all the time we have for today. On Part 2, we’ll move on from the 4-door sedans, and feature the 2-door coupes and sports cars at the event, and more on that RWB Porsche that you spotted lurking in the very first photo in this post. Stay tuned!

Update: Part 2 is out! <-- Click here to check it out!
