Right, so previously, we’ve shown you guys some of the Brand New Vehicles the various Automobile Manufacturers had in store for you this 2013, which could be potential project vehicles for consumers and tuners alike. This time, we’re showing you the customized cars, as well as the restored or preserved classic cars during the event, some of which participated in the Petron MIAS Custom and Classic Car Competition.

Upon entering the World Trade Center, we were greeted by a gorgeous pair of German machines – this Mercedes SLK in custom flat black finish…
…as well as this BMW 1M Coupe, both wearing a custom set of wheels. I think that wheels are definitely the most important modification you can ever do to your car, as it can make or break the look of your car. I think these wheels fit these two cars well, especially the BMW.
Yeah, I know this is neither a custom car, nor a classic car, but I just had to put this in. Wouldn’t it be awesome to have a custom game console at home, so you can play your favorite racing games on a big screen? How about in 3D? That would be waaay cooler don’t you think?
Now we’re talking. With the current trend of Honda K-series modifications going on, it would be nice to see a throwback to the venerable B-series engine mods. And what you see here, is probably the greatest B-series build I have ever seen in person…
So what if this Integra is a drag car and you can’t drive it daily? This thing was purpose-built. It looks like a massive Engine and Wheels…
…with Training wheels attached to the back just for balance. Sort of like reminds me of those Star Wars Pod Racers which looked like 2 Aircraft Engines strapped together just towing its driver behind.
Moving on to the main hall, we saw that Motul had what was probably the biggest display of custom and classic cars in the event…
So much that it could have passed as a museum display!
They even had this theme going on of Classic versus Modern.
See what I mean?
I wish my garage had all these cars in it. I could just choose which car to bring depending on what I felt like – retro or modern. If I wanted to go to the track, I’d probably bring one of the Porsches. If I wanted to cruise, probably one of the Mercs. I bet it would be funny if someone asked you which car you brought out, and you’d say “The Mustang”, and they’d have to ask further… “Which one?” LOL!
Tuason Racing had a spectacular display of BMW’s on the show. But it was this 3-Series that I would have wanted to take home.
This EVO looked like it meant business. I doubt if you’ll be needing the light array for Autocross, but it sure as hell added some pogi points with the rally car theme.
In contrast, there was a more modern EVO X in the HKS booth which looked just as pogi in track-guise than rally-guise. Would you guys want a spotlight feature on this car?
The Yokohama booth didn’t have to go all-out with a custom race car or exotic just for them to stand out. All it took was a nice, clean, and neat Toyota AE86.
Throw in a nice set of wheels…
…such as these Work Equip-03′s…
…and wrap some sticky Yokohama Advan AD08 rubber onto it…
…and you’ve got yourself a winner!
In contrast, another winner in our eyes was the new Toyota 86 wearing the Rocket Bunny kit and Rota RB’s seen in the HKS / Emperor Motorsports booth. How about a spotlight feature on this car? Would you guys want that?
Moving on, there were a couple of beautifully done BMW’s in the show. This 3-series stood-out with its bright and flashy matte orange finish…
While this preferred a more stock-ish, but shiny looking finish…
…compared to this M3.
However, they decided to go more extreme with this 3-series, going for the “stanced” route. The finished product looks awesome. This deserves a spotlight feature don’t you think?
